CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING & APPOINTMENT POLICIES By booking with The Makeup Nurse, you acknowledge that appointment time is reserved specifically for you and agree to the following policies. BOOKING FEES — TATTOO & PERMANENT MAKEUP A $150 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve all new-client tattoo and permanent makeup appointments. The booking fee is applied toward the scheduled procedure balance when the procedure is completed as scheduled. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another person or unrelated service. Booking fees are non-refundable. If an appointment is cancelled rather than properly rescheduled according to the policy below, the booking fee is forfeited. A forfeited booking fee cannot later be reinstated, credited, or applied toward another appointment. CONSULTATIONS Consultations are $100 and non-refundable. The fee compensates The Makeup Nurse for the reserved appointment time, professional evaluation, and expertise provided, regardless of whether you qualify for, schedule, or proceed with a future procedure. The consultation fee is not applied toward a future service unless expressly stated otherwise. CANCELLATIONS 48+ hours before your appointment: Your booking fee is forfeited. No additional cancellation fee applies. Less than 48 hours before your appointment: You are responsible for 50% of the scheduled service price. Any booking fee already paid will be applied toward this amount. Same-day cancellation or no-show: You are responsible for 100% of the scheduled service price. Any booking fee already paid will be applied toward this amount. Cancellation and no-show fees compensate The Makeup Nurse for appointment time reserved exclusively for you and resulting lost revenue. These charges are not credits toward future services, and any outstanding balance must be paid before another appointment can be scheduled. RESCHEDULING You may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours’ notice and transfer your booking fee to the new appointment. The rescheduled appointment must occur within 6 weeks of the original appointment date, unless otherwise approved. A second reschedule forfeits the original booking fee and requires a new booking fee. A request to reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice is considered a late cancellation, and the applicable cancellation fee will apply. Following a late cancellation, payment in full is required to reserve another appointment. Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may result in refusal of future appointments. NON-TATTOO / NON-PERMANENT MAKEUP SERVICES A valid credit card is required on file. Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service price. This charge compensates for reserved appointment time and is not applied toward a future service. LATE ARRIVALS Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation if there is insufficient time to safely and properly complete your service without affecting subsequent clients. An appointment that cannot be completed because of late arrival is considered a same-day cancellation, and the applicable fee will apply. PRICING & TOUCHUPS Prices are subject to change without notice. Touchups are not included in the initial procedure price unless expressly stated otherwise. Cosmetic tattooing commonly requires multiple sessions, and additional touchups or sessions are charged separately at the price in effect when scheduled. Cosmetic tattoos naturally fade over time and may require future maintenance. RESULTS & GUARANTEES Individual healed results vary. No specific result, pigment retention, symmetry, color, longevity, or number of sessions is guaranteed. Results may be affected by factors outside The Makeup Nurse’s control, including skin type, genetics, metabolism, medical conditions, medications, supplements, skincare, sun exposure, lifestyle, aftercare, and individual healing response. Additional sessions may be necessary to achieve or maintain your desired result and are charged separately. REFUNDS All completed services are final and non-refundable. Refunds, full or partial, are not issued based on healing, pigment retention, personal preference, change of mind, dissatisfaction with an outcome within the known variability of the procedure, or the need for additional sessions. PAYMENTS & DISPUTES By booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these policies and authorize legitimate charges assessed in accordance with them, including booking fees, consultation fees, completed services, cancellation fees, and no-show fees. If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact The Makeup Nurse promptly so it can be reviewed. Nothing in these policies limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA Before, during, and after photographs are required for documentation of treatment, technique, healing, and results. A full photography/media release is a condition of receiving services from The Makeup Nurse. Clients who do not consent to the required photography and authorized use should not schedule or proceed with treatment. MINORS Any person under 18 who is legally eligible to receive the requested service must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with valid government-issued photo identification. Applicable legal age restrictions still apply. AGREEMENT By scheduling an appointment, submitting payment, providing a payment method, and/or proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
